Introduction

At Swiftier, we understand that the security of your funds and personal information is a top priority. Whether you’re sending money to family, friends, or business partners, you deserve peace of mind knowing that your transactions are protected.

To ensure a secure experience, we have implemented a range of security measures and best practices to safeguard your data and financial transactions. This Security Page outlines how Swiftier protects your information and what you can do to enhance your security when using our Services.

Use Official App Versions Only

To protect your data and financial information, always download the Swiftier App from official sources, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Using only verified versions of our App helps prevent unauthorized access, data leaks, and transaction interception.

Strong Passwords, PINs, and OTPs

Password Security: Swiftier requires all users to create strong passwords with a minimum of 8 characters and up to 256 alphanumeric and special characters.

Encryption: All passwords are encrypted using 256-bit Hash keys for maximum security

One-Time Passwords (OTPs): We use OTPs sent to your registered email or phone number as an additional layer of end-to-end security. These temporary codes help ensure that only you can access your account, even if your password is compromised.

User Verification

To ensure a secure platform, Swiftier requires all users to verify their identity as part of the onboarding process. This process includes:

• Submission of government-issued identity documents, such as passports, driver’s licenses, or national IDs.

• Independent verification of your identity using multiple government and industry data sources.

• Real-time facial recognition and biometric checks where required.

Users consent to this verification process when they sign up for a Swiftier Account, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Data Protection

Swiftier is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. We use a combination of physical, electronic, and administrative measures to secure your data, including:

• Secure data storage behind firewalls and encrypted servers.

• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Strict access controls to prevent unauthorized data access.

• Compliance with data retention and protection laws, as described in our Data Retention section of the Privacy Policy.

1. Fraud Prevention

Fraudsters use a variety of tactics to trick individuals into sharing sensitive information or transferring funds. To protect your hard-earned money, it’s important to recognize common fraud techniques and know how to avoid them. This section will help you identify and prevent potential fraud when using Swiftier.

a) Urgency and Pressure Tactics

Fraudsters often create a false sense of urgency to pressure you into making quick financial decisions without proper verification. Swiftier will NEVER force you to complete a transaction under urgent circumstances or pressure you into sharing sensitive information. Always take the time to verify any suspicious messages before responding.

b) Fear and Panic Scams

Scammers may try to create a sense of panic by presenting fictitious scenarios designed to scare you into sending money. For example, they might claim your account has been compromised or that you owe immediate fees. Swiftier’s Customer Support Team will only contact you directly if there is legitimate suspicious activity on your account, and will always verify your identity before discussing sensitive information.

c) Links and Attachments

Fraudsters often use unsolicited emails or text messages containing fake links or attachments that can compromise your account. Swiftier will only send authorized, secure emails for transactional and informational purposes. These emails will be signed with verifiable security certificates to confirm their authenticity. If you receive a suspicious email, do not click on any links or download attachments, and report it to Swiftier’s support team immediately.

d) Requests for Credentials

Scammers may attempt to trick you into providing One-Time Passwords (OTPs), PINs, or account passwords over the phone or via text messages. Swiftier will NEVER ask you for your OTP, PIN, or password. If you receive such a request, consider it a red flag and report the incident to Swiftier immediately.

e) Reporting Suspicious Activity

If you suspect that you have been targeted by a scam or if you notice any suspicious activity on your Swiftier account, report it to our Customer Support Team as soon as possible. Swiftier is committed to protecting its users from fraud and will take immediate action to secure your account.
